Dimapur, March 18 (EMN): Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), while supporting the demand of Naga Tribal Union Chümoukedima Town (NTUCT), has demanded the concerned department to cancel the appointment of 994 candidates ‘recruited without open recruitment’, except the 206 advertised posts and to conduct fresh recruitment for 994 posts.
The DNSU’s statement said that it would leave no stone unturned if any government department conducts any kind of backdoor appointments and vacancies being filled without advertisement in public domain. It further asserted that the union would not comprise with options and assertions made by the Home department unless all the vacancies are advertised.
It may be mentioned that DNSU, in its article on February 13, questioned the concerned department for appointing 225 candidates including the waiting list candidates qualified against 206 post for the police recruitment examination declared on December 9, 2019.
The union further affirmed not to comprised by unethical practices by few corrupted officials till justice is delivered.
