DMC warns against plastic use

Dimapur, August 12 (EMN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has warned that any business establishments/shops/vendors/individuals found selling/using non bio-degradable poly bags in violation of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 and Nagaland Pollution Control Board on the Plastics Waste (Management and Handlings) Rules 2011, would be penalised accordingly. This was contained in press information issued by the administrator of DMC, Moa Sangtam, on Saturday.
