Dimapur, September 17: MLA and Chairman of NIDC Ltd, Tovihoto Ayemi, on Saturday inaugurated a newly black topped road at Haralu Colony, Power House, Burma Camp, Dimapur, in the presence of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) administrator, H Atokhe Aye and colony leaders.
Tovihoto, inaugurating the 18th road constructed by the DMC in 19 months, lauded DMC for the continuous developmental activities and further encouraged to continue with its services to the public. He said Haralu Colony, one of the oldest colony in Dimapur town, was lacking behind with suitable infrastructure and added that the newly renovated road has been a long felt need of the residents. He also asked the colony residents to maintain the road.DMC administrator, Atokhe, expressed his gratitude to the government for allowing the DMC to collect toll tax and also thanked the public for their constant cooperation and support to the DMC to carry out developmental activities.
GB of Haralu Colony also spoke during the programme, which was chaired by R Francis Zeliang of Haralu Colony, Dimapur.
