DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11: Administrator of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), H Atokhe Aye, on Monday urged upon colony chairmen and leaders to strictly enforce regulations and other orders passed by DMC and other competent authorities for the betterment of the society.
Speaking as the guest of honour at the general meeting of the Dimapur Urban Colony Chairmen Federation (DUCCF), Atokhe told the colony chairmen and secretary to strictly enforce all regulations passed by the colony particularly on sanitation.
While lauding the outgoing DUCCF team for their achievements, he encouraged the new team to carry forward the legacy and work with renewed zeal.
“If you have been able to achieve anything as a leader, then you need to thank God and if you have failed as a leader then you need to introspect and retrospect where the fault lay,” he told the colony leaders.
Reminding on resolution between the DMC and DUCCF on earlier occasion to collect Rs 30 as Residential Sanitation Tax per household, Atokhe appealed the public to cooperate with the municipal council.
“I will deliver and improve sanitation standard and for which I need the support and cooperation of the public and leaders,” he appealed. He also appreciated the Kevijau and other colonies for coming forward with financial and material contributions for taking up various developmental works. Atokhe said DMC was encouraged by such nature of support and cooperation.
During the programme, general and audit report were also presented.
Assistant Pastor of DABA, Imnatoshi Longkumer, said the dedicatory prayer for the new team of DUCCF.
