DLSA holds talk on RTE Act at Doordarshan Kohima

Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): As part of its monthly legal awareness activity, the District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) in collaboration with Doordarshan Kendra, Kohima held a talk on Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009 on September 24 at Doordarshan Kendra in Kohima, with Apila Sangtam, Mecheite U Kenye and Asenla Longkumer as panellists.

The discussion covered topics like importance of RTE Act and its basic features, amendment in the constitution, reservation, curriculum and evaluation system at the state-level and other provisions directed to the state under RTE Act, an update informed.
