Diwali greetings to citizen of Nagaland

Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): NPF minority wing has extended greetings and best wishes to the citizen of Nagaland and neighbouring areas on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, 'the festival of light and prosperity'. It stated that the festival is to share happiness amongst all and strengthen brotherhood in the state with traditional fervour and gaiety. H Tovihoto Ayemi, advisor to Power, government of Nagaland, also extended “warm greetings to the Hindu community of Dimapur on the auspicious occasion of Diwali known as the festival of lights.” “As Diwali festival also symbolises the victory of light over darkness, may this light enable(s) us to commit to doing more of good deeds and continue living with peace and harmony,” he wrote. “As Diwali is celebrated with great enthusiasm, may the divine light of Diwali spread into our lives and the society with joy, laughter and good health.”
