We have lived a life of disunity and fratricide for the past fifty five years within the periphery of “Divide and Rule Policy” of India the aggresor since the so called Naga People’s Convention (NPC) signed the treasonous 16 Point Agreement with India in 1960.Yet disunity and fratricide must be stopped. We have also written countless articles with all sorts of abusive words accusing each other among ourselves. But we must eschew all these past mistakes and ill practices lest we continue to suffer. Disunity must be replaced by unity and fratricide must be replaced by fraternity. And let us build our nation together on the laid foundation as the saying goes that “A foundation laid is only a work half done.”
One of the mostly important responsibilities to eliminate the aforesaid foul play is that the writers, readers, spokesmen and officials must equally be careful, genuine and constructive. If we do this, misunderstandings among the Naga family will be reduced and no untoward incidents will take place in future.
The Ministry of Rali Wali of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) therefore, sincerely appeals to all esteemed Editors of various Newspapers to check the submitted articles and reject the improper articles which do not bear the proper name and designations of the writers.
This will thus stop persons and groups who are acting often in pretence like wolfs in sheep’s clothings. Such persons or groups often easily create problems in our society. Merely “Ministry of Rali Wali or MIP” without appending the proper name and designation of the writer/ signatory is incomplete and objevctionable. No one should be allowed to write any official statements hiding under an impersonal “MIP” or “Rali Wali.”
