District Industries Centre Mon seeks application for weaving and handicrafts training
District Industries Centre Mon has invited application from bonafide local candidates for undergoing weaving and handicrafts training for 12 months at Cottage Industries Training Centre
- DIMAPUR — The
general manager of District Industries Centre (DIC), Mon, has invited
application from bonafide local candidates for undergoing weaving and
handicrafts training for 12 months at Cottage Industries Training Centre, Mon.
- The intake capacity for the training is 10 females for
weaving and 10 males for handicrafts for the session 2025–2026. The training
will be commenced on April 7.
- A DIPR report stated that the selected candidates would be
given a monthly stipend of INR 500 during the course of the training period.
The training would be imparted for self-employment after successful completion.
The minimum educational qualification for the training would be Class VIII passed.
- It stated that interested candidates would appear for an
interview on March 25 at 10 am in the office chamber of the general manager of
District Industries Centre, Mon, at their own expenses. It added that no
separate calling letter would be served to any candidate. The candidates are
asked to bring necessary certificates/ documents in original during the
interview without fail.
- The application along with the photocopy of the educational
qualification certificate and other necessary documents should be submitted to
the office of the general manager of DIC, Mon, on or before March 21.
