A two-day professional skill training development was conducted by YouthNet at DC conference hall, Dimapur on the 29th and 30thof May, 2015. This was initiated by Kesonyu Yhome, the deputy commissioner of Dimapur, with a vision to build efficiency and professional skills of the administration workforce. The facilitators were Training Consultant, Nuneseno Chase, Ebibeni Humtsoe and Thejanguzo Terhuja. The training was a mixture of real time situation and practices common in the work place. It emphasized on professionalism in the workplace, teamwork, effective communication, time management, work - life balance, motivation and pro-activeness & ownership.
The program focused on honing the key soft skills required to excel and add good value to the different stakeholders. The training was attended by respective staff from various departments.
