Dimapur, August 29 (EMN): Road show for dissemination of national entrepreneurship award 2017 was organised by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati in Collaboration with North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Dimapur at NEISSR Conference Hall on August 28.
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship started the process for selection of the winners of National Entrepreneurship Awards 2017, who will be awarded during the awards ceremony on November 9. The awardees will be awarded a sum of Rs. 10 lakh (organizations) and Rs. 5 lakh (individuals/enterprises), a trophy and a certificate, informed Barnic.
NEAS was instituted in 2016 by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, govt. of India to promote entrepreneurship. The main focus is to promote local production and job creation and to recognize and honour entrepreneurs. This award could help to promote entrepreneur in the North East Region of India, the press release stated.
The call for application has been started on July 25 and the last date of receipt of application is September 15. To fill the application form and for more information one may visit www.neas.gov.in.
Facilitators of the Road Show, Dr. Toli H. Kiba, Asst. Prof. NEISSR and Dr. Razdan Sarim Rahman, Asst. Prof. TISS, Guwahati have requested 120 participants to generate awareness and promote the awards by sharing information with all possibilities of institutions/ organisations levels and individual level.
Meanwhile, the fourth meeting of NGO forum Dimapur was held at NEISSR Hall. Dr. C.P. Anto, principal of NEISSR, Dimapur briefed the previous meeting minutes and highlighted the significance and importance of establishing the forum in the district level and then in the state level.
After a brief discussion, the gathering decided to form the interim body to set guidelines and proper objectives to be headed by Dr. Husheto as the convenor of the interim body and Ela from Prodigal’s Home, Rev. Dr. C.P Anto from NEISSR & Peace Channel, Asha from Miquilath, Kenny from Love Care Home, Jianpu from CAN Youth, Dr. Toli Kiba from NEISSR, N. Chawang from CECS, Neli from Pro-Rural and Dr. Hesheto Y Chishi the co-ordinator from Indigenous Cultural Society were constituted as members.
