Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed that compensation for the affected landowners of buildings and other items due to the 4-lane project under Dimapur district will be paid in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner on Oct. 4.
The DC, in a public notice stated that the beneficiaries for the affected portions from Dimapur to Piphema viz. Piphema, Tsiepama, Pherima, Medziphema, Kukidolong, Jharnapani, New Chumukedima will be disbursed on that day.
He said that the chairman or the head GB and members of the concerned village council to be present in person for identification of the landowners and the beneficiaries during the disbursal of cheques “failing which the payment shall be withheld.”
The DC also directed all the landowners and beneficiaries to come personally along with certain documents viz. identity proof, bank passbook (original and photocopy), five copies of passport photo etc.
All the affected landowners and beneficiaries have been directed to come ‘in person’ along with the identity proof, bank passbook (original and xerox) passport photo (5 copies) etc. Payment to any other representative other than the person concerned shall not be entertained, the DC stated.
