DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Minority Affairs, in collaboration with the Phek district administration, conducted an awareness and sensitisation programme at the DC's conference hall in Phek on March 17.
Key details of the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), such as Micro-Credit Schemes, PM VIKAS, Minority Scholarship, and PMJVK Schemes that function under the administrative control of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, were highlighted.

According to a DIPR report, the schemes were presented through PowerPoint presentations by Andrew C Imti, Joint Director of Minority Affairs; Thehavizo Rio, Assistant Project Officer; and Khriezotuolie, Programme Assistant of the Minority Affairs Department.
District administrative officers, heads of the district offices, village council chairmen, GBs, and church leaders attended the programme.
The chairman of the programme, Neingulie Krome, Joint Secretary of Minority Affairs, delivered the keynote address, while Rhosietho Nguori, Deputy Commissioner of Phek, proposed the welcome address.
