DIPR conducts trg on office procedures

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): A two-day training on office procedures organised by the Directorate of IPR culminated on July 11 at DIPR conference hall, Kohima. The training was attended by the ministerial staff of DIPR was well as employees from Phek, Kohima, Dimapur and Wokha districts. Resource person and Additional Secretary (retired), Renchamo Lotha, dwelt on the importance of file drafting, correspondence, maintaining of dispatch/ issue register, other basic related to filing, fundamental rules, supplementary rules and pension rules etc. Director of IPR, Limawati Ao, stressing on the importance of capacity building, stated that government employees often tend to take their jobs lightly and refrain from learning. He called upon the participants to take the training sessions seriously and try to learn from the resource person by clarifying their doubts. Around 45 staff and officers attended the training.
