Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) organised a farewell programme in honour of their retired officials on March 14 in the IPR Citadel’s conference hall at Kohima. DIPR informed about the event on Wednesday.
The retiring officials were registrar, Nungshiwati Ao; translator, Haokhothung and drivers I Mar and Bao.
Speaking at the programme, Director Limawati Ao shared his association with the retiring staff and lauded their sincerity towards their duties in different capacities. He also congratulated them for attaining superannuation in good health for which he expressed gratitude to the Almighty God.
“The year in your life doesn’t matter but it is the life in your years that matters,” he added and wished them a long, meaningful and prosperous life.
