DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20: A joint meeting of officials from Malaria Department Dimapur, church leaders, community leaders, DNSU, DNYO, DNWO, VDB and village council members of Diphupar village was held on November 17 in Diphupar village council hall and deliberated on preventive measures to be taken in connection with outbreak of dengue fever in the village. It also adopted some resolutions to be strictly implemented by all the residents of the village.
It resolved that all the residents should remove/clear mosquito breeding places within their own compound/ plots on regular basis and to deliver leaflet containing information on dengue fever including preventive and control measures to all the families of the village.
It also urged pastors of all the churches in the village to give mass information about dengue fever and its preventive and control measures in their respective churches.
Further, it resolved that officials of Diphupar Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) should give mass information about dengue fever and its preventive and control measures to students of all schools in the village.
