A candle light tribute in memory of Chester Charles Bennington, vocalist of Linkin Park was held on July 29 at Khorsing Terang park, Diphu.
Chester Charles Bennington committed suicide on July 20, 2017.
Fans paid homage to the late star with candles and flower bouquets during the evening hours where fans numbering to a hundred took part by sharing how he has influenced and inspired their lives when he was alive.
Moonmoon Katharpi, who was present during the program said, she was so inspired by the music of Linkin Park and even the tattoos of Chester which was put in her hands. The small tribute program was led by Kirsan Ronghang one of the fans of Linkin Park.
The popular songs of Linkin Park, such as 'Messenger', 'Waiting in the End' and 'In the end' was performed by Columbus Ronghi, Larsi-im Beypi and Risim Rongpi along with many others.
The tribute program was concluded with a minute of silence in memory of the late star.
