Dimapur, Feb. 10 (EMN): The Dimasa GB Union (DGBU) and Dimasa Public Organization (DPO) of Nagaland have appealed to all the political parties contesting in Dimapur-III constituency and public to refrain from coercion, intimidation, and use of alcohol but to adhere to the principles of clean election.
An appeal has been made in a press release issued by the presidents of the DGBU and the DPO on Sat.
“There have been instances in the past, people pouring in from outside the constituencies during the poll which are uncalled for,” the press release sated.
Therefore, the organizations appealed to citizens to maintain peace and tranquility during the poll process and elect the best candidate who would deliver what is expected of them for the welfare of the constituency and the state in general.
“Let us practice the democratic norms in exercising our respective voting rights,” it added.
