Dimapur, March 13 (EMN): The chief medical officer of Dimapur, Dr. Vikato Kinimi has informed all health units under Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur that social work / sanitation drive will be conducted every last Saturday of the month staring from March in all health units.
CMO informed that the decision to conduct monthly sanitation drive has been taken unanimously by all the members during the monthly district health review meeting held on March 8 at CMO’s office.
The decision was taken to keep all health units clean and sanitary, keeping in mind the increase of vector borne and water borne diseases during the summer season.
This drive also aims to create public awareness on keeping a clean surrounding and thereby achieving a healthy environment, Dr. Kinimi added.
All health units have been requested to comply with the directive.
