Dimapur, May 30 (EMN): Deputy commissioner, Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, has informed to compensate the landowners and beneficiaries who were affected by the new Broad Gauge (BG) railway in Dimapur district.
In a press release, the DC informed that compensation would be paid at the DC’s office on June 12 from 10 onwards for the Tsiepama village.
All the affected landowners and beneficiaries of the stated village are directed to come in person along with their identity proof, bank passbook, passport photo (5 copies) etc, during disbursal of cheques. The DC informed that payment to any other representative other than the person in concern would not be entertained.
All the concerned village council chairmen and its members, head Gaonbura were also informed to be present in person for identification of landowners and beneficiaries, failing which the payment shall be withheld.
