Dimapur, March 8 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Dimapur, has conveyed sincere gratitude to all the government functionaries, security agencies, political party leaders and the electorates for their support and cooperation in facilitating the successful conduct of the recently-held elections to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
The district administration has especially thanked the following functionaries and stakeholders, who have contributed to the successful and peaceful conduct of the electioneering process.
The DC has thanked chief secretary/ CEO/, Commissioner Nagaland/ Home Commissioner/ senior officials of Nagaland for their guidance and support.
He has also thanked the excellent performance of Nagaland Police and central forces under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur.
He has thanked all administrative officers (in the role of Returning Officers, AROs and various assignments), officials of AEO, NIC and DC office, who have worked relentlessly and spent sleepless nights for months in the run-up to the elections.
He also thanked the officers and staff of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for the active support and logistic arrangements. The DC also thanked the departmental officers and staff who have worked hard and contributed in various assignments and capacities, teams, and even as sector officers for the smooth conduct of the election process.
He has thanked the principal and faculties of Dimapur Government College for providing master trainers and campus. All polling personnel deployed on the polling day for the excellent job and upholding the conduct of the democratic process in facilitating the exercise of universal adult franchise to all eligible voters.
He thanked the chairmen/ GBs of all villages/ colonies/ wards of Dimapur district for their immense support and cooperation in the efforts to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections. He also thanked all political parties/contesting candidate/ agent for their understanding and cooperation in carrying the constitutionally-mandated elections for democratically electing the leaders.
He thanked the public leaders, NGO leaders, church leaders and other stakeholders for their continuous support, cooperation and prayers to ensure peaceful conduct of free, fair and clean elections.
He thanked the DPRO/ Nagaland Post/ Eastern Mirror/ Morung Express/ local dailies for their positive role in disseminating necessary information to the voters including SVEEP activities.
He further thanked the electorates of Dimapur district for their cooperation and participation in the democratic process of elections by turning out to exercise their universal adult franchise and ensuring peaceful and successful conduct of elections in the district.
