DIMAPUR — The Photography Club Dimapur (PCD) is set to host the 4th Nagaland Photography Festival 2025 from September 19 to the 20th at Mandeville Garden, Purana Bazaar, on the theme ‘Vision 360 – Vision in every direction.’
This was announced by PCD vice president Sorei Jagoi, during a media interaction at Mandeville Garden on Thursday, where he informed that Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton will be the special guest for the event.
The Nagaland Photography Festival, organised by the Photography Club Dimapur, is a celebration of visual storytelling, creativity and culture. It brings together photographers, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs and tourism promoters under one vibrant platform.

The two-day festival will feature exhibitions, workshops, music and entertainment, photo competition and awards and entrepreneur stalls all designed to promote photography and visual arts, encourage learning and growth, support young talents, boost local tourism and foster cultural exchange.
In essence, the festival is not just about pictures but about people, stories and opportunities that put Nagaland on the map as a hub of art and tourism.
Jagoi highlighted that the festival is crafted as a family-friendly affair, complete with a kids' corner and an array of activities, including a professional photo booth.
Local artistes Moko Koza and Mathu Zeliang will showcase their musical talents on September 19 and 20, respectively.
PCD convenor Mireuyi Herie disclosed that this year's festival will see the club partnering with prominent brands like Canon, Nikon, and Lumix to deliver engaging workshops and seminars.
The schedule features a complimentary Canon camera servicing camp, a Nikon workshop led by Nikon India Mentor Dikhit Das, focusing on crafting storytelling videos with Nikon Z-series cameras, and a Lumix workshop on street photography guided by Lumix mentor Sanjeev Boro.
On the festival's second day, Ashwini Barkataki, EOS Explorer, will lead a Canon workshop on fashion photography, alongside a filmmaking workshop conducted by Wunna Kyaw – a filmmaker, executive producer at Miracle Post Media Productions, and Sony Alpha Brand Ambassador (Myanmar). Certificates will be presented to all participants of these workshops.
PCD general secretary Achano Tungoe announced that the festival will host a photography competition, which includes an on-the-spot mobile photography contest and encouraged interested participants to visit the PCD Instagram page for further details.
PCD co-convenor Yanglem Langti shared that the event will also showcase an arm-wrestling exhibition match on the first day, featuring six national-level players from Nagaland aimed at promoting fitness, followed by an open arm-wrestling competition on the second day.
The festival also host around 40 stalls operated by local entrepreneurs. Entry to the festival is priced at INR 100, with complimentary admission for children below 5 years.
