Dimapur, May 4 (EMN): The Dimapur Railway High School Ex-Students Forum on May 2 organised a felicitation programme for Swapneel Paul, IAS, who secured 64th rank in the recently declared UPSC examination 2017 at the conference Hall of Hotel Jalmahal in Dimapur.
A press release received on Friday informed that the programme was attended by Rashida, general manager of National Institute of Civil Service Examination as the special guest.
Members of the forum present in the programme congratulated Paul for his commendable achievements and wished him the best in his furfure endeavour.
Paul in his speech with ‘strong will power and perseverance coupled with clear and cool mind and lofty aim , nothing is impossible in this world and one can undoubtedly climb the pinnacle of success sooner or later.’
“What is needed is guidance and opportunity to the talented youths especially those belonging to economically weaker families or residing in the far-flung areas to display their talents and potential,” he conveyed a message to all the students of the state.
As an administrative officer, Paul said he would work with full integrity and sincerity for his country. He is looking forward in working for the upliftment of the state, region and the country as a whole.
He also gave credit to his father and mother for his achievement.
Parents of Paul, who were also present at the ceremony shared their nostalgic moments with the success of their son.
The special guest while congratulating Paul for the tremendous achievement urged him to be the torch bearer of the Bengali community of the state in the future and to help in shaping civil service aspirants from the community.
