Dimapur police susggests traffic alternative on during Puja

Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): The Dimapur police has informed that in the event of immersion of Puja idols in Dhansiri River on September 30 next, there will be restrictions of heavy vehicles including recovery vans and earth mover equipments such as back hoe loaders (JCBs), road rollers etc., within the city from 6 am to 7 pm. “The immersion of Puja idols will begin from 7 am in the morning and continue till evening. Public are also advised to take Green Park -Thahekhu route for entry and exit into the city to avoid traffic congestion,” stated a Dimapur police notification on Thursday.
