DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police conducted raids at 14 suspected restaurants and lounges on March 30 and recovered huge amount of liquor.
A police report issued by the deputy commissioner of police (crime) and PRO stated that police personnel seized 72 cans of Kingfisher beer, 20 bottles of Budweiser beer, 15 bottles of Gin and 40 bottles of Breezer from Studio 69. Police also arrested one person identified as Onito Zhimo (25). A case has been registered at East Police Station.
Police also seized 20 cans of Kingfisher beer and 20 cans of Budweiser beer from Dejavu and arrested one person identified as Nuveta Venuh (23). It stated that a case has been registered at East Police Station.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In another incident, police seized 48 cans of Kingfisher beer, 18 bottles of Budweiser beer and 20 bottles of Breezer from Escape and arrested one person identified as Apulo Ayemi (34). It stated that a case has been registered at East Police Station.
Police also seized 48 cans of Kingfisher beer, 24 bottles of Heineken beer and 24 bottles of Breezer from Rooftop and arrested one person identified as Vishal Chetry (35). It stated a case has been registered at East Police Station.
Police also seized 6 pint of Corona beer, 4 pint of Heineken beer, 11 pint of Budweiser beer, 8 pint of Hoegarden beer, 9 cans of Kingfisher beer, 16 cans of Budweiser beer, 16 pint of Breezer and 15 pint of Bira beer from Weke’s Restaurant and arrested one person identified as Pophizo (32). It stated a case has been registered at West Police Station.
IN yet another incident, police seize 12 cans of Budweiser beer, 29 pint of Breezer, 20 pint of Budweiser, 20 cans of Kingfisher beer, 5 pint of Hoegarden beer, 25 pint of Corona beer, 2 bottles of Jameson whiskey (750 ml), one bottle of Zumzin win, one bottle of Jagermister whiskey (750 ml), and one bottle of Jack Daniels (750 ml) from Tipsy Restaurant and arrested one person identified as Munguli Keor (25). It stated a case has been registered at West Police Station.
Meanwhile, police also arrested one person identified as Akabo Chishi from Nagarjan near Spirit of Faith Church on Friday in connection with hit-and-run case under OC Traffic, Chümoukedima.
Report stated on search of the vehicle bearing registration no. NL-01C-0706, a total of 39 boxes of sampex+ capsules were recovered. Police stated that seized vehicle along with the arrested person was produced at East Police Station for further investigation.
