Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) of 1st Dimapur-I assembly constituency celebrated pre-Christmas celebrations on Tue. at Hotel Emerald Inn in Dimapur.
A former councilor of the Dimapur Municipal Council Pukhavi Yepthomi hosted the celebration.
Conveying Christmas greetings during the occasion, Pukhavi Yepthomi spoke about the purpose of Christmas and prayed for blessings of the festive season to be upon the NPF party workers.
Challenging the party workers of Dimapur-I in particular and of Dimapur district as a whole to recommit to working in unity for the larger interest of the party, Yepthomi challenged the party’s workers to be the flag bearers of the organization. He urged them to work together and uphold the party’s ideology to set an example for others to follow.
A party official T Lotha spoke on behalf of the NPF’s central office. Presidents of various wings and divisions besides representatives of constituencies also spoke during the occasion.
