Dimapur and Niuland register massive inning victories, while Chümoukedima defeat Kohima in the 3rd Boys U-16 Inter District Tournament.

DIMAPUR — The 3rd Boys U-16 Inter District Tournament witnessed dominant performances in three matches played across venues in Chümoukedima and Sovima on Tuesday.
According to the Nagaland Cricket Association, matches were played at Chümoukedima Village Ground, GNR Ground Sovima, and Sovima Cricket Ground.
In the match between Chümoukedima and Kohima at Chümoukedima Village Ground, Chümoukedima won by 86 runs.
After opting to field first, Kohima dismissed Chümoukedima for 59 in the first inning, with Imkongtemsu and T Tenshing Phom sharing eight wickets. Chümoukedima staged a comeback in the second inning, posting 164, led by Ronak (31) and Nipuka (22).

Kohima was bowled out for 58 and 79, as Rohit delivered a spell of 7/21.
At GNR Ground, Sovima, Dimapur defeated Peren by an inning and 490 runs.
Dimapur amassed 555/8 declared, powered by centuries from Kunal Kumar (150), Yash Poudel (141), and Chintu (111). Peren were bowled out for 47 in the first inning and 18 in the follow-on. Partha took 5/4 in the second inning.
In the match between Wokha and Niuland at Sovima Cricket Ground, Niuland won by an inning and 218 runs.
Wokha was dismissed for 38 in the first inning, with Kitovi Sema (5/4) and Akash Gupta (5/13) taking all wickets. Niuland replied with 288, led by Ayush (77).
Wokha managed 32/9 in the second inning, with Akash Gupta taking 5/6 and Kitovi Sema claiming 4/0.
