Dimapur, October 6 : The National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) of Dimapur is celebrating 35 years anniversary with a grand offer of free 3-years’ GNIIT course worth Rs.1,72,155 (including books and online services with placement) for one lucky candidate from Nagaland.
“It’s a CSR initiative of the company for better IT awareness amongst the masses for the self-employment opportunities. No cash will be paid to the candidate under any circumstances,” the institute stated in a press release to the media on Thursday.
The course will be non-transferrable to any other NIIT center for partial or entire duration. The batches for all the terms will be launched as per national batch schedules of NIIT Ltd. conducted on SLT (Synchronized Learning Technology) mode.
The eligibility according to the institute: class 12th pass students pursuing BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc. with minimum 45% (NBSE) and 60% (CBSE) can apply. It is besides the relevant conditions for GNIIT such as age criteria and continued good performance as per NIIT norms.
The institute informed that the center had completed 16 Years of quality education services in Nagaland.
“Lucky draw to select the luckiest one will be held with the draw of the lots on 29th October’16 at 11 am at NIIT center, for which serial nos. will be allotted on the submission of the pre-application forms at NIIT Dimapur center only,” the NIIT stated.
