DIMAPUR — The Dimapur
Municipal Council (DMC) has taken serious view of the several complaints of
“unauthorised” individuals and organisations conducting checks in the markets
within the DMC jurisdiction.
In an order
issued on Friday, the Chief Executive Officer of DMC, Thungchanbemo Tungoe,
cautioned that any individual or organisation conducting such random checks
without the approval of the DMC will be “penalised as per the provision of the
law/act.”
