MGM College conducts student exchange programme with Immanuel College and Eco Club essay and art competition on water conservation.

DIMAPUR — A student exchange programme was conducted at MGM College on February 21, during which students from Immanuel College visited MGM College in Dimapur as part of an academic exchange initiative.
The purpose of the programme was to provide visiting students with academic exposure and an understanding of teaching–learning practices followed at MGM College.
As per the scheduled plan, three students from Immanuel College attended two academic classes conducted exclusively for them by faculty members of MGM College. Also, four students from MGM College went to Immanuel College for the exchange programme.
The classes covered subject-related topics and encouraged interaction between the faculty and visiting students.
In a separate event, the Eco Club of MGM College organised an essay and art competition on the theme “Water conservation: Every drop counts” on February 21.

The competition witnessed participation from students who expressed their perspectives on water management and conservation.
In the art competition, Piwoto V Aye (Semester IV Sociology) secured the first position, followed by Kariben Longkumer (Semester IV, Education) in the second position and Thupukeve Tsutso (Semester IV History) in the third.
In the essay competition, Sweta Santosh (Semester IV Pol. Sc.) won the first position, Laxmi Kumari (Semester VI Commerce) took the second, and Imtisangla Ao (Semester IV English) came third.
