Dimapur lockdown extended till April 5

Dimapur, April 2 (EMN): The Dimapur district administration has extended the total lockdown of Dimapur by another two days—from the midnight of April 3 to April 5 midnight.

This is an extension of the three-day lockdown period already in force in the commercial district. All shops, commercial and private establishments have been directed to remain closed till April 5 midnight.

Exemptions have been made for police, paramilitary, army personnel; magistrate on duty; doctors and medical staff; medicine wholesalers and retail pharmacies; bank staff and persons engaged in emergency services.
