Dimapur lift inter district U-19 trophy

Dimapur, June 26 (EMN): Dimapur district team lifted the U-19 Inter-District Cricket Tournament after defeating Peren team by 75 runs in the finals played at the NCA stadium, Sovima, Dimapur on Tuesday, June 26. This was stated in a press note. The tournament, organised by Nagaland Cricket Association had teams from eight districts. In the match, Peren after winning the toss put Dimapur to bat and was all out for 176 runs in 36 overs. Hem Bahadur with 86 and Rajdeep with 47 runs were the major contributors for Dimapur. Yash and Argha took four and three wickets for Peren. Chasing a target 176 runs, Peren team was all out for 101 runs in 24 overs. Jatin with 23 and Afzal with 20 runs were the only contributors for Peren. For Dimapur, Toukha claimed five wickets and Vivek chipped in with three wickets.
