Dimapur job fair attracts 170 candidates

DIMAPUR — A job fair was held at the District Employment Office, Dimapur, on Monday, jointly organised by ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), Don Bosco Job Placement Network – Dimapur, NCSC for Differently Abled Dimapur, NSCS for SC/ST Kohima, District Employment Exchange Dimapur, and the Model Career Centre Dimapur.

A total of 170 candidates registered for the event, with more than 100 walk-in participants. Six recruiters took part, namely Apex Motors, Reliance Jio, SBI Life Insurance (Dimapur), Talent Acquaintance, Askyam Restaurant (Velachery), and Chilli Breeze, according to an update.

Most recruiters conducted in-person interviews at the venue, while Askyam Restaurant (Velachery) and Chilli Breeze held online interviews to allow wider participation. Over 40 candidates were shortlisted across companies for further recruitment processes.

The fair also highlighted inclusivity by providing differently abled candidates with the opportunity to attend one-on-one interviews, giving them exposure to professional recruitment practices and enhancing employability prospects.
