Dimapur-Imphal taxi fare reduced

EMN Dimapur, January 31 [dropcap]A[/dropcap] local organization representing regional taxis has informed that the group has reduced taxi fares for regional passengers travelling to Imphal from Dimapur. The fare to travel from Dimapur to Imphal in Manipur has been reduced from Rs. 600 to Rs. 500, the Dimapur unit of the Nagaland Taxi Association informed in a note issued on Saturday.All taxi drivers are directed to adhere to the new fare; defaulters would face stern action, the association asserted. “All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur unit submitted memorandum to the deputy commissioner Dimapur for the Illegal taxation, the government has initiated promptly and illegal taxation has been reduced drastically, in respond to the above mention for which the All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur Unit has reduced taxi fare from Rs, 600 (Six Hundred) to 500 (Five Hundred) between Dimapur and Imphal, for the welfare of the public and passengers in general, also the ANTA Dimapur unit appreciated the ACAUT Nagaland for their initiate and support,” the association stated in one good length. The association has “directed to all the counters in blue hill Gholghat road to abide to the orders given by the association failing which the ANTA Dimapur unit will take stern action against the defaulters.”
