Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN):
Dimapur Police on Friday informed that one Tolivi Ayemi (28) was arrested from Zunheboto on October 15 in connection with the October 10 incident where two handmade grenades were hurled inside the Assam Rifles transit camp at Purana Bazaar.

The deputy commissioner of police (DCP), Zone 1 Dimapur, Naieem Mustafa, informed Eastern Mirror that the woman was arrested with the help of Zunheboto Police on Thursday. Two persons involved in the incident were arrested on October 14, Mustafa informed.

"She is the one who supplied the grenades to the person who hurled it," said the DCP.

He informed that the persons arrested earlier had gone to Zunheboto and contacted Ayemi in order to procure the grenades. "They had never met the woman or known her before procuring the grenades from her," said Mustafa.

According to sources, one of the arrested persons is reportedly a member of the NSCN (K) faction led by Nikki Sumi.
