Dimapur, Aug. 18 (EMN): Taking a serious note of many issues confronting the society, the Dimapur District Gaon Burahs’ Association (DDGBA) along with its eight administrative units, and GBs of Lotha and Ao passed several resolutions at a joint meeting in Dimapur on Aug 18.
A press release received at Eastern Mirror informed that the joint meeting resolved to advise the respectitve GBs of village or town not to issue ‘PRC/TRC without proper verification of documents of the persons concerned.
It also resolved to extend full support to the “Joint Committee on prevention of the illegal immigrants” (JCPI) and it resolved to request the government administration not to entertain or honor any certificate certified by non- Naga GBs.
Besdies, it also resolved to request ‘seven administrative units under the association’ to mobilize and support to form a Chairmen’s Unions in each respective Units in Rural Area (Villages) to assist for the smooth functioning of village or colony administration.
The Association strongly opposed the Aadhaar being made mandatory in all the official requirement; it reminded Nagaland Govt. that the other States like Assam and Meghalaya are not implemented but enjoying all the benefits of the central Govt.
Moreoever, the association also resolved to support the ‘one government one, tax system’ initiated by ACAUT.
