DIMAPUR: Dimapur district was declared overall champion of the 2nd inter-district shooting championship, organised by the Nagaland Rifle Association (NRA) at Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, Bamunpukhuri-I, Dimapur, from June 21 to the 24th.
An update from NRA stated that altogether, 64 shooters including 46 men and 18 women from Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Chümoukedima, Peren participated in 27 events. It added that Dimapur district by winning 33 medals was adjudged as the champion followed by Mokokchung with 17 medals, Kohima with 15 medals, Chümoukedima with 3 medals and Peren with 1 medal.
