Dimapur District Taekwondo Association to host inter-school taekwondo championship with over 200 student-athletes competing.

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) will organise the 6th Inter-school Kyorugi and 1st Inter-school Poomsae Taekwondo championships at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex, near DC Court junction, Dimapur, on October 17 and 18.
According to an update from the association, the two-in-one championship will feature over 200 student-athletes from 20 schools competing in both kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae (forms) events.

The tournament aims to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline and excellence among school-going Taekwondo practitioners.
The association has invited all supporters, parents and Taekwondo enthusiasts to witness the emerging talents of Dimapur’s youth in action.
