Dimapur, Feb. 13 (EMN): The district administration of Dimapur has begun issuing Inner Line Permits (ILP) in the commercial district of Nagaland.

The administration has listed the establishments from where members of the public can obtain ILP application forms and exemption forms issued from the deputy commissioner’s office.

The department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave updates to the media on Thursday informing about the notice.

The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi, has informed the public of Dimapur district that ILP application forms and exemption forms are being issued from the deputy commissioner’s office in Dimapur with designated officers and ILP counters.

The issue of forms started on February 13, the IPR stated. It will be available during office hours from ‘all the locations’ besides the deputy commissioner’s office in Dimapur, the IPR informed.

There are three types of forms: Form I is for application for ILP exemption card, Form II for application of ILP for one year, and Form III is the one presently in use for labourers, tourists and students, the updates stated.

‘The deputy commissioner of Dimapur has informed the public to avail the facilities from the respective designated locations from where the applicants can collect and submit the forms. Thereafter, the applicants can collect the ILP from the same designated locations,’ the IPR stated.
