DIMAPUR — Dimapur United Sporting Club registered a 4-0 win over East Dimapur Sumi Sports Association, while Thahekhu FC and Don Bosco Sports Academy played out a goalless draw in the ongoing Dimapur District Football League (DDFL)-cum-Late Hejeto Ayemi Trophy at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur, on Tuesday.
In Match 13, Dimapur United Sporting Club took control of the contest, with Yiben scoring twice in the first half, finding the net in the 15th and 17th minutes. The side went into the break with a 2-0 advantage.
Vinato extended the lead eight minutes into the second half before Ghuqhe scored in the 19th minute to complete the 4-0 victory.
Nungsang, wearing jersey number 8 for Dimapur United Sporting Club, was named Player of the Match.
In Match 14, Thahekhu FC and Don Bosco Sports Academy failed to break the deadlock and settled for a 0-0 draw.
Both sides committed six fouls. Thahekhu were caught offside eight times compared with four for Don Bosco. Thahekhu had six direct free kicks and Don Bosco five, according to the match statistics.
Thahekhu's Vituna received the only yellow card of the match in the 35th minute of the second half. Katoho, wearing jersey number 93 for Thahekhu FC, was named Player of the Match.
