Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Embarking on the mission to keep the city clean and make it congenial for a better living, Team Clean Dimapur (TCD) conducted its first official cleanliness drive for the year 2019 on February 23 at Dimapur flyover.
It was reported that besides the team members, multitude of volunteers, students including officials and cadres from Naga political groups have actively participated in the cleanliness drive.
Meanwhile, TCD has thanked all the volunteers, students from El-Shaddai Academy and Helping Hands Dimapur for extending their services towards the team during the cleanliness drive.
TCD has also acknowledged the support of Kikheto Chishi, CAO UT-1, NSCN/GPRN, and his team, who not only contributed financial assistance and necessary materials towards the cleanliness drive but also for participating physically in huge numbers till the end of the cleanliness drive.
TCD mentioned that volunteers and students participated to sweep the footpath and collect the dusts/ sand accumulated on the bridge over the years. TCD further called upon every citizen to join its efforts for a cleaner Dimapur.
