Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): The monthly meeting of the Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held on May 7 in the deputy commissioner’s (DC) office in Dimapur.
The government’s publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) issued updates on Tuesday informing about the meeting.
DC Kevekha Zehol was stated to have noted the absence of many officers in the meeting. He urged the board members to be regular noting that important issues pertinent to the district are discussed when the board meets.
‘He asked the officers to serve with sincerity and dedication reminding them that officers are fortunate to be posted in Dimapur,’ the IPR stated.
During the meeting, the board’s members recommended a number of proposals for registration of societies. The board also recommended a proposal to upgrade the government middle school of Phaipijang to a high school; and opening of a new school, Milon Public School at Padumpukhuri.
