NCA Under-23 inter-district cricket tournament
Dimapur, April 12 (EMN): Dimapur and Zunheboto have registered win at the ongoing Under-23 inter-district cricket tournament organised by the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), which was played at the NCA Stadium, Sovima, on April 12.
Dimapur defeated Mon by 158 runs, while Zunheboto defeated Peren by 10 runs.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Dimapur secured 210 runs for 5 wickets in 25 overs. Sedezalie contributed 54 runs, while Puchu made 44 runs, Tahmeed made 28 runs and Nagaho made 22 runs for Dimapur.
For Mon, Ating took two wickets, while Phakayu also took two wickets.
Mon secured 52 run and was declared all out in 16.5 overs.
For Dimapur, Akavi took four wickets, while Chiranjeevi took two wickets and Nagaho, Imlikaba and Tahmeed also claimed one wicket each.
In the second match, Zunehoboto defeated Peren by 10 runs.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Zunheboto secured 59 run from eight overs. Harsh made 21 runs, while Bokuto made 12 runs.
For Peren, Anuj, Raja and Haichanu claimed one wicket each.
In a disappointing performance, Peren secured only 49 runs in 8 overs. Mayank made 19 runs.
