Kohima, June 14 (EMN): Dikwa scored a hat-trick as Morning FC defeated Mustang FC 3-1 at Kohima local ground on Wednesday morning.
Playing at the ongoing Morning Premier League, Dikwa drew first blood for Morning FC in the 16th minute through an assist from Lipok. The lead was cut short thirteen minutes later when Imo equalised the score in the 29th minute for Mustang FC. However, Dikwa was on the score-sheet again four minutes later as he doubled his tally to end the first half 2-1.
In the second half, Akavi set up Dikwa to complete his treble in the 67th minute and Morning FC hold on for a win.
Morning FC with a win moved a point above Morung United in the 7th place of the Morning Premier League table. Morning FC has 18 points from 15 games.
