The change of guard of office bearers of Angami Student’s Union (ASU) for the tenure 2015-2017 was held yesterday at Mezo Basa village. Attending the official handing and taking over of the office, senior leaders of ASU Khrielievi Chüsi, Kelhouneizo Yhome, Sedeneikho Sosahie and Kezokhotuo Belho wished the new team the very best while also exhorting them to work unitedly for the welfare of Angami students. Outgoing president Zakie Khate and new president Dievi Yano also delivered short speeches. The new team includes Zekuseto Natso and Meguo Ratsa in-charge of Chakhroma as vice presidents. Visako Rino as General Secretary, Khriezelhou Vitso as Assistance General Secretary, Petekhrietuo Kiewhuo as Finance Secretary, Rokovizo Senotsu as Treasurer, Tsiu Seyie as Education Secretary, Bao Kense as Information & Public Secretary, Vizokho Zashümo as Games & Sports Secretary, Ruokuolhou Zhünyü as Auditor General and Seyieneichou Keyho as Art & Culture Secretary. Nongosa Sale is the Speaker of ASU Assembly with Kekhrievituo Dahou as Deputy Speaker. ASU advisor Voto Nyiekha chaired the function while former secretary Sedevikho Angami tendered the vote of thanks.
