Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): In connection with act of vandalism committed by some youths from Kiyeto village on March 13 at Dhansiripar village, two villages namely Kiyeto and Dhansiripar have informed that the issue has been 'resolved amicably in the spirit of forgive-and-forget' and with the consent of the aggrieved party.
This was stated in a joint statement issued by chairman of Kiyeto Village Council Honito Sumi, and the chairman of Dhansiripar village council Joydhwaj Hasnu.
The settlement to the issue was arrived at during a joint meeting of the two villages on March 15 at Dhansiripar community hall, it was informed.
The joint councils urged all in concern—individuals or groups—to desist from 'unnecessary interference which may vitiate the cordial relationship' between the two villages.
