Divided into four groups, four teams of selected faculty guided the freshers through a comprehensive introduction to academic and exam rules under the semester system as well as briefed on matters such as students’ discipline and welfare and the co/extra-curricular activities available. While welcoming the new members of the ever-expanding DGC family, they were encouraged to nurture and promote the DGC core values of integrity, tolerance, respect for diversity and service and support among all members. Evoking the impressive list of DGC alumni in various prominent positions, the freshers were urged to surpass their seniors and predecessors academically and professionally.
