Dimapur, Jan. 31 (EMN): Director General of Assam Rifle (North), Lt. Gen. Sukhdeep Sangwan, visited Nagaland from January 30 to February 1, wherein he was briefed on the operational and administrative preparedness.
The General Officer has expressed confidence about the security measures in place for ensuring a peaceful and secure environment in the state. He also visited Wokha, Kiphire, Tuensang, Shamatore and Zunheboto to review the security situation and interact with troops of Assam Rifles.
The General Officer commended the troops of Assam Rifles for their devotion and dedication to duty and enthused the officers and jawans to continue the good work and live upto the motto ‘Friends of the North East.’
