Dimapur, June 30 (EMN): The second day of a training programme in “development of experts” in Nagaland concluded at the directorate of Industries & Commerce, on June 28 in Kohima.
The event was organized by the department of Industries & Commerce in partnership with the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.
The government publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave updates about the programme in its Saturday bulletin.
The participants at the training programme comprised officers from the agriculture and allied government departments.
“Its focus was mainly to familiarize and impart knowledge and methods involved in the domain of export products with an over- arching goal for the participants/trainees to learn and further assist and guide progressive farmers and prospective entrepreneurs to increase the level of export in the state,” the IPR stated.
T Moawati, joint director for the Industries & Commerce, thanked the resource persons and trainees for their participation in the two-day training programme. He urged the trainees to ‘give seriousness in attending such kind of training programmes,’ the IPR explained.
The officer urged them to properly use the knowledge and skills that they have learned from the training programme, the updates added.
