Detoxification camp in Mon concludes

Dimapur, Aug. 29 (EMN): A month-long detoxification camp concluded at Yuching village under Mon district on Aug. 28. Mission secretary KBBB, Toantao said it is a historic day for Yuching villagers since users of opium, weeds and intoxicating substances have been tremendously benefitted from the camp. He congratulated the village council, church members and students union for the successful conduct of the camp. President Yuching Students’ Union Ponwang, in his closing remark appreciated KBBB, churches, village council and different organizations for the logistic support. He also thanked all the stakeholders and individuals for helping financially, materially, morally and also prayer support. Short speeches were delivered by NyamtoAngh and Athom from GS Gospel Outreach Ministry, Mon while Rev. Tapha, touring evangelist offered prayer for clients. More than 50 campers participated in the camp which started from July 28. The detoxification camp was jointly organised by Yuching Students Union, Gospel Outreach Ministry and KBBB and sponsored by Yuching Students Union and Village Council Yuching.
