Deputy commissioner Kohima informs on selection process for two-wheeler taxi permit

transport authority (RTA), Kohima.
- DIMAPUR — The
deputy commissioner (DC) of Kohima, B Henok Buchem, has issued a public notice
regarding the selection process for two-wheeler taxi permits under the regional
transport authority (RTA), Kohima.
- As per the notice, applications submitted in response to the
advertisement dated February 19, 2025, have been duly scrutinized. The RTA has
now released the shortlisted candidates in two categories namely male
(annexure-I) and female (annexure-II) along with lists of rejected applications
under annexure-III (male) and annexure-IV (female).
- Candidates could check the lists on the notice board at the
office of the deputy commissioner, Kohima, and on official website at
kohima.nic.in.
- It stated that the riding test for shortlisted candidates
would be conducted at IG Stadium on March 21 and 22.
- On March 21, candidates with roll numbers from 1 to 190 (male)
are asked to report between 9 am and 1 pm, while those from roll numbers 191 to
380 (male) are asked to appear between 1 pm and 5 pm.
- On March 22, candidates with roll numbers from 381 to 570
(male) are asked to report between 9 am and 1 pm, and those with roll numbers
from 571 to 751 (male) are asked to report between 1 pm and 4 pm.
- On March 22, female candidates with roll numbers from 1 to
27 are asked to report between 4 pm and 5 pm.
- The notification further stated that interview would be
conducted basing on their performance in the riding test. The date and venue
for the interview would be notified later.
